TB Awareness and Testing Campaign

We educate communities about TB symptoms and encourage early testing while providing ongoing support for those affected. Our strategy targets stigma and improves access to treatment. The campaign’s core objectives are to educate on TB transmission, promote early diagnosis, and reduce social stigma.

Project summary :

Our team runs information sessions using local-language materials, sets up mobile and pop-up testing sites. We also train health workers and support peer-led groups for TB-positive individuals.

As a result, testing rates have increased in the areas we serve. Surveys show improved awareness and a measurable decline in stigma. Next steps include expanding testing to rural areas, launching new local-language radio content, and integrating TB and HIV messaging.
