Early Childhood Development (ECD) Practitioner course is a nationally
recognised, full-year programme designed to equip aspiring educators
with the skills and knowledge to nurture young children from birth to
school-going age. This accredited course (SAQA ID: 97542, NQF Level 4, 131
credits) prepares students to support holistic child development in both
formal and informal learning environments.

Course Overview :

This programme focuses on the cognitive, social, emotional, and physical
growth of children. Students are trained to design age-appropriate learning
activities, ensure safety and hygiene, foster inclusivity, and communicate
effectively with children and parents. You’ll also learn how to uphold ethical
standards in early learning spaces.

Certification and Accreditation

Upon completion, you will receive an Occupational Certificate: Early Childhood Development Practitioner. The qualification carries 131 credits and is fully accredited by the Quality Council for Trades and Occupations (QCTO).
