HIV/AIDS Awareness Campaign

HIV/AIDS Awareness and Testing Campaign

We provide accurate information on HIV/AIDS and offer free testing and counseling services for all community members. Our goal is to build informed, healthy communities and eliminate HIV-related stigma. The campaign promotes safe sexual behavior, encourages routine HIV testing, and challenges misinformation and discrimination.

Project summary :

Key activities include the design and distribution of educational materials, targeted social media campaigns, peer educator training, and school workshops. We provide free, confidential mobile HIV testing in community hotspots. Monitoring and evaluation ensure transparency and allow for continuous improvement.

In the first year, over 1,200 people were tested across various age groups. Community-led outreach and collaboration with clinics, educators, and influencers contributed to broad engagement and participation.

Next, we plan to integrate HIV education into schools and workplaces, expand mobile testing in peri-urban and rural areas, and strengthen community-based referral networks.
